Understanding Time
You will notice that Balance has its own clock, the G.C.T.
it is not based on standard earth metrics, however it does contain the concept of:
Seconds
Years (or lapses, or turns, whatever you may wanna call them)
The clock as depicted here:
has 4 fields:
- CURRENT GALACTIC YEAR
- SECONDS SINCE YEAR STARTED
- SECONDS TILL NEXT YEAR
- YEAR LENGTH (in seconds)
You will notice in your event lists 2 different formats
- YEAR : 0000 (events automagically generated by the game engine , snapshots)
- YYYYSSSNNN (events generated by a user)
